Thaipusam 2007 : Pulling
A Hindu devotee pulls on the tough cords hooked to his back. As gory as it may appear, there is no blood or noticeable pain.
This photo was intentionally processed to look lomographic with high saturation and out-of-focus imaging.

How does the blur help this photo?
it negates the information you are trying to show?
I teach Photo, it sounds like the common "I wanted it that way" why did you want it that way? it doesn't help the photo.
The blurness shows motion and movement. The colours were over-saturated to expand on the intensity of the situation.
What "information" were you expecting from the photo?
Do you know what lomography is? You teach photo...you should know better.
i dont think researcher even knows what hes talkin about.
I have browsed through all your photos and am amazed at the variety of subjects and styles of shooting. I'm also impressed by the quality of comments you receive, except for one on this post. Being curious, I visited 'researcher's blog and found that he's just a nut. So ignore him and keep on shooting, in whatever style that pleases you.
