Petaling Street

A typical scene in Petaling Street where locals and tourists alike bargain with entrepreneurs for the best price on a wide variety of goods ranging from leather products to Russian binoculars.

Be warned, if you don't intend to buy anything, don't ask for the price. Look, smile and walk off if you're not interested, lest you want to be bombarded by foul words uttered in a local dialect.

If you do intend to buy something, haggle over the price. All the electronics, watches, clothing and material products here are fakes.

This practice does not apply to foodstuff however. From my experience, food in Petaling Street is cheap already.
