Towering Tentacles
An abstract shot of the Seri Wawasan Bridge in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
The Seri Wawasan Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge which is a landmark in Putrajaya. Categorized as a 'signature bridge' the Seri Wawasan is also an important utility link between Precinct 8 and the Core Island in Putrajaya.

Adieu, Sunshine
Pantai Bagan Lallang, Malaysia - It's the middle of the monsoon season, and getting a decent shot of a sunset is difficult at best. But with a little bit of luck, I managed something rather rare. A reddish hue cast over the seaside as the sun began to set behind clouds over the horizon.

Canoes
A group of adventurers laid out their canoes on the beach. An opportune moment. This photo was taken at Pantai Bagan Lalang (Malaysia).

Spiral
This is one of the scariest shots I've ever taken, because I'm afraid of heights. So you could imagine my fear while trying to lean over the side to take this photo. Mind you, since I'm using a D-SLR, I can't do a preview using the LCD. I had to look into the viewfinder to compose the shot. The photo was taken at a multi-storey car park in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Princess Kiki
A pretty cat who visits regularly. She is all white and can be quite pampered. She has even picked out one of our chairs in the living room as her own (although her brother frequently usurps her authority on that chair).
This Is Where I Want To Be
This photo was taken in the underground walkway between Suria Shopping Complex and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It was an experiment with motion blur that turned out reasonably well (for a first timer).

Suria-KLCC Walkway
The underground walkway between Suria Shopping Complex and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia. The walkway is not entirely straight as evident on the right side of the photo. I thought that was rather cool.

The Handle
1 Boring Weekend + 1 Canon EOS D-SLR = Cool Perspective Shot.
I fumbled on the ISO setting (having tried several low-light indoor shots earlier), but the camera was very forgiving.
Sunway Saucers
I was out on a night expedition to try low-light photography and found myself wandering around Sunway Resort Hotel. The architecture here was amazing and I found myself staring at forms that looked like Martian Spaceships. I just had to take this shot.

Glasses
I spent an entire day at a seminar at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur (located next to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre). Before the seminar began, I had the opportunity to photograph this excellent setup of glass-ware.

Piazza D'Oro
Taken at a classy cafe inside the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. A friend of mine was in a generous mood (as he usually is) and offered to pay for the drinks. While he took care of the bill, I took this photograph of the coffee beans and cups superbly decorated along the counter.

Punctured Steel
This was actually the seat of a designer chair (designed and built by one of my colleagues). I was especially fascinated with the way a wall decor reflected off the smooth but uneven surface. It was even better when I managed to get the curvy ridge to "evade" the holes.
Yellow Shutter
I was out on a self-assigned project to blog about the local (Malaysian) loan-sharks. Along the way, I noticed this metal shutter recently painted in yellow.
